outward bound singapore. [10th november to 14th november 2008]
For the start, everything went on bad, dreadful. For the fact that staying in PulauUbin for 5days in the mud and everything, Singapore seemed so much better. Slowly, we adapted to the dreadful fact. Got into our groups in school, gathered at the Punggol jetty with the members of other schools. Maris stella and Greendale.
Day One
Gathered there, had our ice breaking games, waited for the rain to stop. Had our kayak practice. Kayak partners, Rizal and Taufiq. They're like the best man there! hahahaha! honoured anot? (: Started to prepare for dinner out, and pitching of tents for the night, near the shore. Pack for the expedition. Really chilly at night in the tent. And the hard floor is uncomfy, but still slept really well. Early wake up for the morning.
Day Two
Early breakfast. Physical training, repacked for expedition and double checked. Left for the trekking. Trekked halfway to campsite 2. That short distance was already enough to kill. Waited for the rain, chill. Did belaying practices for the high elements. Went on to high elements. the logs were really scary as it was moving as you climb. takes 2 to climb, and my partner was Rizal! =D macho! macho! :D Had dinner, outdoor cooking and lastly, scary nightwalk about 350m in the jungle alone. Went to sleep at the open space at night. i guess i rained?
Day Three
Morning, early Physical training. Packed and left for THE WORSE. trekking for a day. Under the heavy rain. Missed our checkpoints. Failed the detours, added checkpoints. Walked in the heavy rain, with the ponchos. Reached the campsite at evening. Briefing for the next day and started to storm. everyone didnt had time for dinner, stayed in the tents. Instructors cooked for us. Had alot of fun running around, playplay. Eat COWS. hahahahahaha! marshall were total slackers. Tents were flooding and the sky kept taking photos of us! tents kept lighting up every 10minutes. Lightning. Slept real badly. Wet, wet.
Day Four
Woke up, Set out for kayaking after leaving our bags in the sandpipers. Raining! Kayak with Rizal and taufiq. Had really great time relaxing while the both of them boost! hahahahaha. Slept for about 6km of the 15km. Had a serious beat in my head. Almost died. Lunch in the water was fun. Weather was really cold. My pinky's condition got worse. Total happiness after reaching campsite 1. Felt so safe. hahahaha! and The Cannot Pee in Water is damn funny. After reaching camp1, everyone went to pee.! hahaha. Cleaning up! Had cooking competition, Barker won. Had a feast. Played with food. Went for greenbean and back to the dirty tents. The freaking tent's zip was spoiled and all the mossyz attacked like free! darn! ): sandflies too! Woke up early.
Day Five!
It was the last day! Had the Commitment jump. Off the jetty. Packing up, chilling out, taking photos. Left for singapore. Went back to school, saw the netballers having their training, and gave it a miss with the others off to mac for food. And home,cut hair and yeah, dreadful. Went for british council, worse of my life.
Saturday, Sunday
Went for handball, after handball, went to angmokio, lunched and stayed over with sisters. Next morning, breakfast, and lunched at Sakae with cousins and aunts. Went to Funan, cousins bought their laptop. And yeah, finally home. but there's training tomorrow. Netball.
